Quarter Window Glass: Service and Repair
Undamaged Side Window, Removing (Sedan)

Undamaged Side Window, Removing

Remove upper C-/D-pillar trim.

-

Remove side cushion.

-

Remove phillips head bolt - 1 - and remove belt guide - 2 - upward.

Cutting length of Knife V.A.G 1561/19 must be Placed to following length corresponding to cutting area depicted in illustration

1. Cutting area = 20 mm
2. Cutting area = 27 mm
3. Cutting area = 35 mm

NOTE:  If specified cutting lengths are not observed, sealing lips will certainly be destroyed (window is destroyed) and paint and water deflector
will be damaged.

Cut through adhesive sealant using Electric cutter V.A.G 1561 A and Cutting blade V.A.G 1561/19 (with stopper roll).
