Remove threaded plastic plug at door by right side B-pillar -arrow-

-

Install tongue and anchor assembly, both plastic washers, bushing and cover cap from kit.
^

Tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 ft lb)

Place child seat on front passenger seat

-

Buckle both ends of child seat belt and adjust snugly over child seat by pulling loose end of webbing to tighten seat belt.

Golf/Jetta 1990-1992

-

Remove screw -arrow B- from rear trim.

-

Pull up and loosen door sill trim.

-

Pull back carpet to expose threaded hole -arrow A-.

-

Mark and punch hole in carpet.
