Lock cylinder carrier

Lock cylinder can only be removed in conjunction with carrier.

Handle trim
-

Lock cylinder carrier, removing.
- Disconnect harness connector for license plate light.
- Remove nuts - 2 - and remove handle trim from tailgate.

Installing:
- Installation is reverse of removal.

Pop rivet

Pull in using Pop rivet tongs V.A.G 1765 B

Base for license plate
-

Press on only on hatched area.

Replacement part has two foils. first foil covers adhesive surface, second must be removed after installing.

Removing.
- Remove trim for tailgate.
- Disconnect harness connector from lock.
