Note:  Before pressing piston back, draw off brake fluid from reservoir using a bleeder bottle. Otherwise fluid will overflow and cause damage if
the reservoir was topped off during repair work.

Press piston back.

To do this, press floating caliper outward using a screwdriver as shown in the diagram.

Using a screwdriver, first press outer brake pads off caliper and then remove.

Push floating caliper in direction of arrow until it stops.

Carefully press inner brake pads out of pistons and remove from floating caliper.

Clean floating caliper, in particular the adhesive surface for the outer brake pads. This must be free of adhesive residue and grease.

Use only appropriate solvent for cleaning the brake caliper housing.
