Air Door Cable: Service and Repair
Heating and A/C Cables, at HVAC Case

Temperature And Central Flap Cables, Removing And Installing

NOTE:

-

Cable sleeve ends are color coded.

-

When Installing secure cable to heated/evaporator unit first.

-

Check cables before installing and replace binding or damaged cables.

Removing

-

Remove heating and A/C controls

-

Remove instrument panel

-

Remove footwell air outlet.

-

Disconnect cable for central flap or temperature flap on heater/evaporator unit.

Installing

Illustration shows right-hand drive version.

Central flap cable, sleeve marking: Black

Temperature flap cable, sleeve marking: Red

When attaching inner cable note: Do not press end of wire (arrow) against lever.
