Unscrew sealing plug - arrow -.
Oil level is correct when the front final drive is filled up to lower edge of oil filler hole.

Drain off any excess axle oil or top off to proper level.

If axle oil must be filled up after repair work, slowly and uniformly fill front final drive over a time period of at least 5 minutes until axle oil
escapes at lower edge of oil filler hole.
A filling time of at least 5 minutes is necessary so that oil is distributed evenly in the transmission.

Install old sealing plug - arrow -.
^
Perform a short test drive so that axle oil warms up.
^
Check front final drive oil level again.
^
If oil level is correct, seal front final drive using a new sealing plug.

Install noise insulation for right drive axle to wheel housing - arrows -.
