Connect diagnostic cable VAS 5051/5A connector or VAS 5051/6A to Data Link Connector (DLC).

Switch tester on - arrow -.

The tester is ready for operation when a picture of a vehicle is displayed.

Switch ignition on.

-

On display, select field "Guided Fault Finding".

Select in order:
-

Type

-

Model year

-

Variations

-

Engine code

-

Confirm entered data.
Wait until the tester has interrogated all available control modules in the vehicle (vehicle system test).

Once all control modules have been checked:

-

Press "Go to" button.

-

Select "Function/component selection".

-

Then press "Drivetrain (Rep. Gr. 01; 10 to 26; 28 to 39)".

-

Select engine code.
