Note:

Replace seal rings

^

Do not reuse hydraulic fluid that has been drained.

Hydraulic fluid G 002 000

^

Quantity of oil in system approximately 1ltr.

1. Hex bolt, 10 Nm
2. Double bolt, 10 Nm
3. Ignition coil with bracket
4. Power steering pump
5. Clamp

^

Tension with V.A.G 1275

^

Always replace

6. Suction hose
7. Suction line
8. Internal hex bolt, 22 Nm

^

Securing bracket for power steering pump on crankcase

9. Internal hex bolt, 22 Nm

^

Securing power steering pump to power steering pump bracket

10. Sleeve, slotted
11. Internal hex bolt, 22 Nm

^

Securing bracket for power steering pump on crankcase

12. Internal hex bolt, 22 Nm

Securing power steering pump to power steering pump bracket

13. Power steering pump bracket
14. Internal hex bolt, 22 Nm
16. Belt drive pulley

^

When loosening and tightening counter-hold with V.A.G 1590 if necessary

16. Seal rings, 16 x 22

Always replace

17. Banjo bolt
