Drain ATF.
^
Tighten new drain plug - arrow 1 -.
^
Remove ATF check plug - arrow 2 -.
^
Guide ATF filler tool V.A.G1924 into an opening - arrow - of protective cap, do not push cap up and in while doing so.
^
Add ATF until it exits from check hole.
^
Screw in ATF check plug hand-tight.
^
Place selector lever in position "P".
^
Start engine.
^
Depress brake pedal.
^
Shift once through all selector lever positions, remaining in each shifted position approximately 10 seconds, with vehicle at standstill.
^
Place selector lever in position "P".
^
Then check ATF level and top off.
