Valve body for transmissions with hydraulic control Type E17, assembly overview, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (FWD)

WARNING: Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in transmission.

The valve body can be removed with the transmission installed.

^

Apply only ATF to O-rings when installing. Other lubricants lead to malfunctioning of the transmission hydraulics.

Always replace soiled or defective valve body.

^

Use only lint-free cloths.

^

Check and top up ATF when oil pan has been refitted.

1. Drain plug, 40 Nm

With seal

^

Always replace

^

Remove plug to drain ATF 

2. Bolt, 10 Nm

^

Tighten oil pan bolts in several stages and in diagonal sequence 

3. Oil pan
4. Gasket

^

Always replace

5. Magnet

^

4 magnets in depressions in oil pan
