WARNING: Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in transmission.

The valve body can be removed with the transmission installed.

Apply only ATF to O-rings when installing. Other lubricants lead to malfunctioning of the transmission hydraulics.

Always replace soiled or defective valve body.

^

Use only lint-free cloths.

^

Check and top off ATF when oil pan has been re-installed.

1. Drain plug, 40 Nm

Remove plug to drain ATF 

2. Bolt, 10 Nm

^

Tighten oil pan bolts in several stages and in diagonal sequence

3. Oil pan
4. Gasket

Always replace

5. ATF screen
6. Bolt

^

Bolts securing valve body: 16 bolts M6 x 60

^

Observe correct tightening sequence

^

Tightening torque: 8 Nm 

7. Valve body

Select correct version according to transmission code

8. Bolt, 8 Nm
9. Retainer
