Pull out clip -A- to stop using screwdriver to remove line/hose assembly.

Installing 

Installation is performed in the reverse sequence. Note the following:

Brake fluid must not come in contact with the transmission. If necessary, clean the transmission housing.

To simplify assembly, select 6th gear before installing the slave cylinder.

Preload slave cylinder sufficiently so that the securing bolt can easily be inserted.

Lightly coat plunger surface contacting clutch release lever.

Coat area -a- of boot with lithium grease, G 052 150 A2, before installing slave cylinder in transmission housing.

Vehicles with 4-cylinder engine or 6-cylinder Diesel engine

Guide slave cylinder into mounting hole in transmission housing, without great sideways movement from working direction of plunger, and bolt
tightly.
