Note:

The V-notch -1- on the accumulator housing will move from lock position -3- to unlocked position -2-.

V-notch -1- on accumulator must then align with unlocked marked position -2- (bayonet lock).

Lift out fuel pump together with inner part of accumulator and set aside.

Fuel pump must be removed to provide proper clearance for removal of sending unit.

^ Remove fuel level sending unit from accumulator housing by pressing in on release tab -1- then lifting upward.

NOTE:

Fuel level sender must be installed as a complete unit.

Install new fuel sender (4BO 19 673AN) into fuel tank and slide downward in guide at outside of accumulator and push into stop.

CAUTION!

Be careful not to damage the float or the float arm when installing new sender.
