The 1.8T engine (Engine codes AEB, ATW, AUG, AWM), should always use engine oil that conforms to Volkswagen Oil Standard VW 502.00 (with
viscosities of SAE 5W-40, 5W-30 or 0W-40).

These vehicles should always use engine oil filter Part No. 068115561B.

All topping off of engine oil between services should always use engine oil that conforms to same Volkswagen Oil Standard VW502.00
