NOTE:  

Ensure that fuel lines are not touching together and are positioned free and clear of vehicle body

Insert vent line from N-80 EVAP canister purge valve into fuel line retaining bracket -arrow-, then push firmly on bracket near latch to ensure it
clips properly into place, and proceed to Section D

Section E - Fuel Tank Inspection

(2001-2005 4Motion vehicles)

-

Remove rear seat bottom by pulling up on seat bottom

Remove cover from fuel sending unit on driver side

-

Using measuring tape centered over electrical connector -dotted circle-, measure distance between vent line and fuel sender retainer ring
-arrow-, it should be at least 36mm
-

If the measurement is 36mm or greater, reinstall cover for fuel sending unit and rear seat bottom

Work is complete for Section E

If the measurement is less than 36mm, proceed to Section F to perform visual inspection/vent line measurement check of surrounding
surfaces for signs of fuel leak
