Fit locking plate -A- for selector lever cable onto mounting bracket.

-

Press together ends of securing clip -B- and slide onto end of selector lever cable.

Install cover. When doing this check position of seal.

Tighten nuts -arrows- (Qty. 4).

-

Check ignition key withdrawal lock.

-

If removed, install front exhaust system with catalyst.

-

Install central console and extension.

-

Reconnect Ground strap to battery.

-

Check selector lever mechanism.

-

Enter radio code.

-

Initialize electric windows, set clock.

Shift mechanism (layout), disassembling and assembling 

Sequence for disassembling and assembling
Lubricate mounting and sliding surfaces with Polyurea grease Part No. G 052 142 A2.
