Steering Angle Sensor: Service and Repair

Steering angle sensor -G85-, removing and installing

The steering angle sensor is located between the steering wheel and steering column switch.

Removing:

Front wheel and steering wheel must be in straight-ahead position.

Remove steering wheel.

^

Release the four securing clips (arrows) carefully and take steering angle sensor out toward steering wheel and in same direction as steering
column.

^

Release connectors (arrows).

Installing:
^

Front wheel and steering wheel must be in straight-ahead position.
The steering angle sensor -G85-must be in its center position before installing.

^

Press on steering angle sensor -G85- until lugs engage.

^

Remove transportation protection.
