Drive spring pin -1- out of transmission selector lever -2- -arrow- until transmission selector lever can be removed from selector shaft.

Pry seal out with a screwdriver.

Installing

Apply ATF to circumference and sealing lips of seal.

Installation position:
-

Open side of seal faces transmission.

Drive in new seal until thrust piece contacts stop. Ensure that seal remains straight when doing this.

Push transmission selector lever onto selector shaft and knock in roll pin.

Carefully press selector lever cable onto selector shaft lever using a pair of pliers. When doing this, take care not to bend the selector shaft lever,
otherwise the selector mechanism will not be able to be adjusted correctly.

Install multi-function switch.
