Place protective seal with the outer sealing lip on the piston.

^

Using 3409 wedge, insert the inner sealing lip into the cylinder grove.

Note:  Hold piston in front of caliper housing.

^

Press piston into the brake caliper housing using piston resetting tool.

Note:  The sealing lip of protective outer seal will then engage in the piston groove.

Notes: 
^ Only use appropriate solvents for cleaning brake parts.
^ Install all parts supplied in repair kit.
^ New brake calipers are filled with brake fluid and are prebled.
^ Apply a thin coat of installing paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.

Install on brake caliper housing

2- Ribbed combi bolt, 190 Nm
