Unclip terminal 50 connector -1- and remove.

Remove nut -2- at starter solenoid terminal 30 and remove connector eyelet from terminal. Tightening torque: 13 Nm (10 ft. lb)

Loosen and remove clamp which secures heat shield to starter.
Mounting to engine block
NOTE: Bracket -c- may not be installed on some engine/transmission types.

Where applicable, remove M8 nut -arrow A-.
Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lb.).
