Installing upper spring retainer
-

Set angle scale (arrow) of tensioning device 1752/2 to 0°.

-

Install upper spring retainer, washer and suspension strut mounting.

-

Using adjustment gauge 1752/8, position upper spring retainer to 11ø.
The 11° position on the adjustment gauge 1752/8 is recognized with:
"vorn links (front left)"
or
"vorn rechts (front right)"

Note:   
The 11° position of the spring retainer is a mirror image on the left and right-hand sides.

Studs on upper spring retainer are offset 11° to shock absorber bolt axis -1-.
F=Direction of travel
R=Spring retainer, right-hand side
L=Spring retainer, left-hand side
A=11° + 2°
