Drive shaft with threaded hole upward.

Secure shaft in by penning transmission housing to shaft using a center punch -A-.

Remove bolt (arrow) and take out lock washer.

Lock washer is placed in groove of selector shaft and keeps shaft from falling out.

^ Selector shaft can be removed or installed after removing detent spring -A-.

Install bolts -1- and -2- approx. 3 turns.

Tighten bolt -2- to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.) and then tighten bolt -1- to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).

Remove using pliers
Drive in with copper drift
