Selector Lever

Selector Lever, Disassembling And Assembling 

-

Remove selector lever.

Disassembling 

-

Knock out mounting pin for selector lever with a drift.

-

Lift pull rod and slide selector gate out of selector lever together with Tiptronic spring mechanism.

-

Release coil spring, then remove pull rod and coil spring from selector lever.

Assembling 
-

Place coil spring -B- onto pull rod -A-.

-

Insert pull rod and coil spring in selector lever.

Installation position: Rounded corner (arrow) and sharp edge point in direction of travel.

Ensure pull rod slides freely on two guides -C- on selector lever.

-

Lift pull rod -D- and slide selector gate -B- with Tiptronic spring into selector lever -A-.

-

Drive in mounting pin -C- with a drift.

-

To secure pin peen two new spots (arrows) at 90° to the existing ones.

-

Install selector lever.
