Cargo Cover: Procedures
Screen Separator Wall, Retrofitting
NOTE:

The required parts must be ordered via Parts Catalog. Note respective vehicle equipment (with/without sun roof).

Edge of luggage compartment cover for vehicles with screen separator wall is slightly cut at transition to screen separator wall. The existing
luggage compartment cover can continue to be used only with limited operation.
Special tools and equipment

Pop rivet tongs V.A.G 1765 B
NOTE: Retaining strip - 1 - for left seatback is different from retaining strips - 2 - for right seatback - arrows -.
The required mounting points for the retaining strips of the screen separator wall are on the seatback.

Fold down both backrest parts.

Determine outer mounting point for the respective retaining strip by inserting scriber according to the specified dimensions.

Bolt on retaining strip. Use retaining strip as template, pre-punch both mounting holes and screw in bolts. Tightening torque: 5 Nm
