Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

Headlight Bulbs, Replacing

Low beam bulb, replacing

CAUTION!
Do not touch glass portion of bulb with bare hands. Even the smallest amount of moisture and/or contaminants from fingers that evaporates on
the bulb during operation can cause the glass to cloud over.

-

Remove large cover cap on rear of headlight housing.

-

Disconnect electrical connector -2- from bulb.

-

Unclip retainer -1- from lugs -5- and flip over to side.

-

Remove bulb -4- from reflector/housing.

-

Insert new bulb (making sure that the bulb mounting aligns with the locating lugs in the housing) and re-clip retainer.

-

Connect electrical connector and reinstall cover cap..

-

Check headlight (bulb) function.

High beam bulb or dual filament bulb for high beam and fog light, replacing

Remove small cover cap on rear of headlight housing.

Disconnect electrical connector -2- from bulb.

Unclip retainer -1- from lugs -4- flip over to side.
