Valve Body, Removing And Installing
CAUTION: Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there in no ATF in transmission.

The valve body or the conductor strip can be removed with the transmission is installed.
The conductor strip can be removed individually.
^
Always replace a valve body which is contaminated or inoperative.
^
Do not use fluffy cloths.
^
After re-installing oil pan, fill with ATF.
1. Plug

Always replace seal; see Fig. 2
2. Overflow pipe
^
Remove to drain ATF; see Fig. 1
^
Thread in to stop
^
Checking ATF level and topping-up
3. Oil pan
4. Bolt
^
12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
5. Magnet
^
Insert in oil pan recess
6. Spacer bushing
^
Press into gasket
7. Gasket
^
Always replace
^
Press spacer bushings into gasket
8. ATF screen
^
Installing; see Fig. 10
9. Bolt
10. Gasket
^
5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
^
Always replace
^
Press onto ATF screen suction collar
