Flywheel: Service and Repair

 
Sealing flanges and flywheel/drive plate, removing and installing 

1. Oil seal

^

To remove oil seal, remove sealing flange

^

Install with 10203

^

Lightly oil sealing lip

2. Woodruff key

^

Ensure tight fit

3. 25 Nm 
4. Sealing flange
5. Gasket

^

Always replace

6. Cylinder block

^

* Removing and installing crankshaft
Refer to Engine.

^

Disassembling and assembling pistons and conrods, Refer to Engine.

7. 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further  

^

Always replace

8. Dual-mass flywheel/drive plate

^

Lock with 3067 to remove and install flywheel

^

Removing and installing drive plate

9.

Intermediate plate
^

Must be located on dowel sleeves

^

Do not damage/bend when assembling

10. 10 Nm
