Sliding/tilting roof with glass panel

Sliding headlining, installing

-

Remove springs -2- from sliding headlining. Always use new screws (coated).

-

Install sliding headlining in roof cut-out. Install sliding headlining slide in guide channel (slide screwed onto sliding headlining). Insert slide on
other side into guide channel and secure with screw to sliding headlining. Always use new screws (coated).

Move sliding headlining to rear, until springs -2- engage.

Parallel alignment, checking

Sliding/tilting roof glass panel closed.

-

Push sliding headlining fully back by hand.

-

Push trim frame to rear (clipped-on in area of front guide and guided at rear by pins).

Pin -3- must be within notches -arrows-

-

Hooks -4- must be engaged in guide rails.
If the pins -3- are not within the notches, the parallel alignment must be adjusted.
