Fluid Pump: Service and Repair
Remove/Install

NOTE:  Refer to Planetary Gearbox Disassembly/Assembly. See: Service and Repair 

COMPONENT NOTES AND INFORMATION

Bolt

Quantity used, 7

Tighten to: 8 Nm (70 inch lb) plus an additional 1/4 turn (90°)

The additional turn of 90° may be done in several stages

ATF pump with -B2- piston

Refer to ATF Pump Disassembly/Assembly

O-ring

Always replace

Place on ATF pump

Gasket

Always replace

Spring cap

Quantity used, 6

Install 3 spring caps after installing first outer plate

Install 3 spring caps before installing last outer plate

Before installing place new inner plates in ATF for 15 minutes

Always install 2 mm thick outer plates
