Roof Trim

Headliner

Removing

Vehicles with sunroof

-

Open sunroof.

All vehicles

-

Switch off ignition.

Vehicles in which an interior rearview mirror with rain sensor is installed

-

Remove the interior rearview mirror with rain sensor. Refer to => [ Interior Rearview Mirror with Rain Sensor ] See: Mirrors/Service and
Repair/Interior Rearview Mirror

All vehicles

-

Remove the front and rear interior and reading lamps in the headliner

-

Remove storage compartment with console in headliner. Refer to => [ Storage Compartment with Console in Headliner ] See: Utility Storage
Compartment/Service and Repair/Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim

-

Remove upper trim on A-pillars. Refer to => [ Upper A-Pillar Trim ] See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim

Remove sun visors.

‹› Double: => [ Double Sun Visors ] See: Utility Storage Compartment/Service and Repair/Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim

Remove roof grab handle.

-

Fold the front seat backrests forward.

-

Remove upper B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Upper B-Pillar Trim ] See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim

Remove trim on C-pillars:

‹› Vehicles without sun shade: => [ C-Pillar Trim without Sun Shade ] See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim

‹› Vehicles with sun shade: => [ C-Pillar Trim with Sun Shade ] See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim

Remove roof end strip, sedan. Refer to => [ Roof End Strip ] See: Roof End Strip

Vehicles with sunroof

-

Push the (T10039/1) between frame - 1 - and headliner - 2 -.

-

Using the (T10039/1), separate the frame in -  direction of the arrow - from the headliner, the whole way around.
