License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair
License Plate Lamp Attached By Screws
License Plate Lamp Attached by Screws
Removing:
-
Switch ignition and all electrical consumers off and disengage the key or ignition switch in position 0 (ignition off).
-
Remove mounting bolts - 1 - from License Plate Lamp - 2 -.
-
Using a suitable screwdriver, carefully pry License Plate Lamp out of bumper cover at recess - arrow -.
-
Disengage and disconnect harness connector - arrow -.
-
Pry diffusion lens - 1 - out of license plate light housing - 2 - in direction of arrow using a suitable screwdriver.
