Pull the button - 3 - in direction of arrow and unlock the connector - 1 -.

Disconnect harness connector - 1 - in direction of arrow and remove pyrotechnic battery isolator - 2 - from vehicle. 

‹› While doing this, observe safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic battery isolation system, refer to => [ Pyrotechnic Battery Isolator

Safety Precautions ] . 

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› When connecting harness connector to pyrotechnic battery isolator, make sure that connector lock engages audibly.

Tighten all threaded connections to specified torque, refer to => [ Fastener Tighten Specifications, Battery In Luggage Compartment ] .
