Press the Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) retaining catches out - arrows - and partially remove the Motronic Engine Control
Module (ECM) (J623) from the mounting frame.

Bend the raised ends - 1 - of the locking bracket outward.

-

Using locking pliers, remove the shear bolts -  2 - and the locking bracket.

Disconnect the Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) electrical harness connectors - 1 -.

-

Remove the Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) from the mounting frame.
