^ Remove and Inspect fuel cap for "G" index, see "figure 1".
If vehicle IS NOT equipped with "G" index fuel cap:
^ Install redesigned fuel cap, Part No. 3C0 201 550 G
^ Clear codes and reset readiness.
If vehicle IS equipped with ¡ÈG¡É index fuel cap:
^ Reinstall fuel cap and tighten properly.
^ Perform emission system leak test as described in the Repair Manual Group 20, Fuel Supply, Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system, checking for
leaks in ElsaWeb.
