Loosen bolts and clamps -arrows- and remove charge air pipe with charge air hose downward.

-

Disconnect 6-pin connector from Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-.

-

Remove four bolts of Throttle Valve Control Module -J338- and remove them.

Installing 
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Adapt Throttle Valve Control Module to Engine Control Module (ECM): VAS5051 Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System; Guided
Fault Finding; Vehicle System Test or VAS5052; Vehicle Self-Diagnosis

Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM), Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data.

Generate readiness code

Engine Mechanical, Fuel Injection Ignition - MFI

Throttle Valve Control Module J338, Removing And Installing

Removing:

Remove engine cover/air filter.

Rabbit/GTI:

-

Remove pipe - A - and hose - B - - arrows -.

All vehicles:

-

Remove noise insulation
