Installing
CAUTION: Before installing the rear axle, make sure the contact surfaces on axle and body are clean.

Install rear axle to vehicle.
The rubber bushing centralizer (arrow A) seats in the hole of the axle beam (arrow B).

Insert rear axle bushing bolt and tighten nut only until bushing/bracket and rear axle are in position.

Tighten bolts (arrows) for mounting bracket to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) + 90°.

Loosen bolt for rear axle bushing until nut and bolt can be turned by hand.
CAUTION: The rear axle/bushing connection must only be tightened when the vehicle is standing on its wheels.
The remaining installation steps follow in the reverse order of removal
Tightening torques:
Shock absorber to body: 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Shock absorber to rear axle: 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Bushing to rear axle: 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.) + 90°
Mounting bracket to body: 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) + 90°

road test vehicle and check position of steering wheel.
CAUTION: If the steering wheel is not in the straight-ahead position the wheel alignment must be checked.
