Removal/Installation

Coil spring, removing and installing 

Special tools required

Removing 

-

Clamp suspension strut mounting tool VAG 1752/2 in a vise.

-

Clamp clevis of suspension strut in suspension strut mounting.

-

Tension coil spring in VAG 1752/1 tensioning device until upper spring retainer is free.

Note:  Ensure that the coil spring is seated correctly in adapter VAG 1752/7 (arrow).
