Remove catalyst and front heat shield before removing and installing boot

Note:

Carefully pull boot over selector rod

Place boot on the marks on selector rod and push rod

Turn cover inside out.

Carefully pry segment with a screwdriver in direction of arrow while pulling shift knob out.
