Front Cross-Member: Service and Repair

Subframe, removing and installing 

Special tools required 

Removing 

-

Support engine with support device.

-

Remove wheels.

-

Remove undertray.

-

Before loosening the subframe check that holes -1- and -2- align using special tool 3393.

Note:  If the holes do not align, an alignment is required after installing the subframe.

Remove bolt -5-.

-

Remove nuts -3- and -4- and connecting link.

-

Remove support control arm nut -2- on subframe and remove bolt.

-

Loosen bolt -1-.
