Press piston back.

-

Insert brake pad with retaining spring in brake caliper housing (piston).

Note:  The inner pad (with spring) has an arrow. The arrow must point in the brake disc forward direction of rotation. May create noise if
incorrectly installed.

Remove outer brake pad protective foil.

-

Install outer brake pad in brake carrier.

-

Secure brake caliper to carrier with both guide pins, 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)

Install both protective caps,

-

Insert retaining spring in brake caliper housing.

Note:  After replacing brake pads, depress pedal firmly several times with vehicle stationary, to ensure brake pads are properly seated.

Removing 

Note:  If reusing brake pads mark location and install in same position.

Remove wheels.

-

Remove lower brake caliper housing bolt. Counter hold on guide pin.
