F=Direction of travel
R=Right-hand mounting bracket
L=Left-hand mounting bracket
Holes in suspension strut -1- spring retainer (arrows) must point toward center of vehicle.

Tighten nuts -2- to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

Installing upper control arms to mounting bracket

Align upper control arms, dimension -A- = 47 ± 2 mm (1.85 ± 0.08 inch)

Tighten bolts -1- for both control arms to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) and turn 90° further.

Install suspension strut with mounting bracket into suspension strut tower.

Tighten bolts -1- to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).

Note:  Make sure the washers are correctly positioned.
