Valve Body: Service and Repair
01V Automatic Transmission

Valve Body, Removing And Installing 

WARNING;  Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in transmission.

Valve body can be removed with transmission in vehicle.

^

Lubricate O-rings with ATF when installing.

^

Always replace a valve body that is contaminated or malfunctioning.

^

Do not use fluffy (lint) cloths.

^

After re-installing the oil pan, fill with ATF.

1. Drain plug

^

40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) 

^

Remove plug to drain ATF.

2. Sealing ring

^

Always replace

3. Bolt 

^

10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.) 

^

Tighten oil pan bolts in stages and diagonally

4. Oil pan
5. Gasket

^

Always replace

6. ATF screen

^

Removing and installing

7. Bolt

^

8 Nm (71 inch lbs.) 

^

Bolts securing valve body:

1 bolt M6 x 30;
16 bolts M6 x 60
^

Removing and installing

^

Observe correct tightening sequence

8. Valve body

^

Select correct version according to transmission code

^
