Neutral Start Relay (Inhibitor Relay): Testing and Inspection

Use test system VAG 1466 for troubleshooting.

Test Condition:

Transmission control module (TCM) J217 OK

Preparations for Troubleshooting

-

Remove park/neutral position (PNP) relay J226 (production control number 150) from auxiliary relay panel, behind instrument panel, left.

-

Insert test adapter VAG 1466/6 into relay.

-

Connect VAG 1466 to test adapter.
