Ash Tray: Service and Repair

Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim

Front Ashtray or Front Compartment

Removal

-

Switch off ignition.

Vehicles with manual transmission

-

Open the ashtray

-

Remove the boot with the plastic frame from the center console frame -  1 -- arrow -, to do this, use the special hook (3370).

-

Hold the center console bracket tight - 1 -.

Do not remove it.

The connectors for various switches could unintentionally be loosened.

Fold the boot upward over the shift knob.

-

Remove gear selector insulation - 1 - from shifter guide rail.

‹› Note - arrow - when installing insulation, it must point in direction of travel.
