CAUTION!
To prevent a possible short circuit, be careful not to damage the connector when cutting the center vertical brace.

Slide the bonded connector horizontally, opposite the direction of travel, between the roof crossmember and headliner. The - shaded area - of the
connector faces up.

‹› Removal and installation is described for the right side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the left side is identical.

Removal

Switch off ignition.

Remove the front and rear interior and reading lamps in the headliner.

Remove storage compartment with console in headliner. Refer to => [ Storage Compartment with Console in Headliner ] See: Storage

Remove upper trim on A-pillars. Refer to => [ Upper A-Pillar Trim ] See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim

Remove the front roof grab handles.

Using a small screwdriver, open cover caps - 1 - and -  2 -.
