Lower the engine using (10 - 222 A) just enough until it is possible to remove the coolant pump.

Remove the coolant pump pulley bolts. To do so, counter hold the pulley using a drift.

Remove the coolant pump bolts - 1 - and then remove the coolant pump - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Lubricate the new O-ring with coolant.

Install the coolant pump.

Tighten the coolant pump bolts to 8 Nm

Install the coolant pump pulley and bolts, tighten the bolts to 20 Nm.

Raise the engine using (10 - 222 A) and secure it with new bolts, tightening them by hand.

Align the engine mount as follows:

‹› There must be a distance of at least 10 mm - a - present between the engine mount bracket - 2 - and right longitudinal member.

‹› The casting edge on the engine mount bracket - 2 - must be parallel to the engine mount arm - 1 -.
