Headlamps

HID Headlamp Power Output Stages

‹› Illustrations depict replacement of headlamp power output stage at right headlamp.

‹› Replacement of Left Headlamp Power Output Stage (J667) and of Right Headlamp Power Output Stage (J668) is identical.

‹› Be careful not to mix up the old headlamp housing through part index 3C0 941 753 K or 754 with the power output stage 7L6 941 329 A.

‹› Be careful not to mix up the new headlamp housing from part index 3C0 941 753 K or 754 K with power output stage 7L6 941 329 or 330.

‹› Interchanging the parts during installation will result in an incorrect diagnosis when performing Fault Finding

Removing:

-

Switch ignition and all electrical consumers off and disengage the key or ignition switch in position 0 (ignition off).

Remove headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamps ]. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Headlamps/Headlamps

Remove mounting bolts - arrows - of headlamp power output stage - 1 -.

-

Disengage the harness connectors - arrows - and disconnect the connectors.

-

Detach headlamp power output stage from headlamp.
