On the Assisting Driving Light, high beams can be switched on or off.

Connect the (VAS5051B).

-

On the (VAS5051B), select "Guided Fault Finding".

Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

‹› Vehicle Electrical System Control Module

‹› Functions

‹› Adapting high beams as assisting driving light

Assisting Driving Light Delay, Adapting

Vehicle Electrical System Control Module

Assisting Driving Light Delay, Adapting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS5051B)

‹› With automatic headlamps or automatic headlamp control switched on, light is automatically switched on or off via a light or rain sensor.

When switching assisting driving lights on and off, the delay can be set variably between 0 and 255 seconds.

Connect the (VAS5051B).
