Electric seat

Partially electric seat

-

Remove partially electric seat trim. Refer to => [ Partial Power Seat Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats

Height-adjustable seat

-

Remove height-adjustable seat trim. Refer to => [ Height-Adjustable Seat Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats

Fixed seat

-

Remove fixed seat trim. Refer to => [ Seat Trim without Height Adjustment ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats

Passenger Seat with Pass-Through

-

Remove the front seat trim => [ Passenger Seat Trim with Pass-Through ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats.

Remove bracket and actuating lever, trim of partially electric/height adjustable seat. Refer to => [ Power Height-Adjustable Seat Trim Bracket and
Operating Lever ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

all seats

Remove front seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left Front Seat Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats

Secure backrest on (VAS 6136).

-

Remove headrests. Refer to => [ Headrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Remove the cover and upholstery from the front seat backrest:

‹› all vehicles except the Trendline, refer to => [ Front Backrest Cover and Upholstery, Except Trendline ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and

Repair/Overhaul/Seat Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Cover and Upholstery

‹› Trendline, refer to => [ Front Backrest Cover and Upholstery, Trendline ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seat

Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Cover and Upholstery

-

Separate wiring harness - 1 - from backrest frame. 

-

Remove bolt - 2 - (9 Nm).

-

Remove side airbag - 3 - from mounting in backrest frame.
