‹› The HO2S Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 (G130) and HO2S Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2 (G131) fuse OK.

‹› Battery voltage at least 12.5 volts.

‹› All electrical consumers such as, lights and rear window defroster, switched off.

‹› Vehicles with automatic transmission, shift selector lever into position " P" or "N".

‹› A/C switched off.

‹› Ground (GND) connections between engine/transmission/chassis OK.

‹› Ignition switched off.

Observe Clean Working Conditions. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control

Perform a preliminary check to verify the customers complaint. Refer to => [ Preliminary Check ] See: Powertrain Management/Computers and
Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Scan Tool Testing and Procedures/Preliminary Check.

Start diagnosis

Checking internal resistance

Disconnect the HO2S Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2 (G131) electrical harness connector - 3 -.

-

Using a multimeter, check the Oxygen Sensor Heater Bank 2 Sensor 2 (Z30) terminals 1 to 2 for resistance.
